Inspired by marine knots, the Nodo armchair infuses oak with the suppleness and fluidity of sailboat ropes. This piece was created for the inauguration of the new FRENCH DESIGN ART EDITION sector of ART PARIS 2025. The furniture exhibited by Studio Catoir on this occasion revolves around the theme Helio -elegance and invites us to feel the summer, the sea and the wind through pieces that explore the colors and materials of the sun and the nautical world. The Nodo armchair, like a sculpture, is made from an assembly of solid oak elements, with seat and backrest available in fabric or leather. It is shown here with a mohair fabric by Pierre Frey. Limited edition of 8 with the knot on the right or left side of the chair (8 pairs in total).
